Have breakfast like a Russian - eat flat pancakes with salmon, caviar, sour cream or jam. Tradition of making pancakes is as old as the country itself. One week before Easter Russian people eat pancakes every day.
Syrniki
Then order cheese pancakes called syrniki and eat them with honey. They are made of tvorog - Russian cottage cheese. Still hungry? Have some Guriev porridge and become as strong as one of our emperors.
Borshch
Then have lunch, which can include aspic (holodets), one of traditional Russian soups or beef stroganoff.
Pelmeni
Don't forget to try vareniki or pelmeni (sweet or savory dumplings), which came to Russia from China and became a perfect dish for Russian climate.
