You will walk across a New Year’s fair-trade, see Christmas theatrical performances not only on a wooden stage but also on an ice rink, meet street musicians, participate in traditional Christmas games, master-classes, taste Russian sweets and buy beautiful souvenirs.
The itinerary includes visiting the Red Square, walk of Tverskaya street – the main street of Moscow, cozy side-lanes in the old city, Arbat street. All the routу is built through the most scenic and brightly lit streets.
What’s in store for you:
Tverskaya street – New Year’s tunnels made of Christmas lights, gigantic light installations, Christmas houses, master-classes on the central street of Moscow.
Bolshoi theater – the biggest theater of opera and ballet in the world. During Christmas holidays there are Ice Ballet shows near the building of Bolshoi.
Central toy store – the roof top sky deck with a panoramic view of the city.
Nikolskaya street – a pedestrian street near the Red Square, decorated with 500 meters long Christmas lights.
GUM – exhibition of Christmas trees by famous brands, New Year giftshops and the tastiest ice cream.
Zaryadie – a landscape park on the bank of the Moscow river. This is where you can find the Floating bridge with the view of Kremlin and Red Square.
Red Square – the main square of the country. In winter the center of the square is made into an ice- skating rink and into a Christmas fair-trade with attractions.
The Saint Basil’s cathedral – the picturesque cathedral on the backdrop of falling snowflakes. The very picture you had in your mind.
Manezhnaya square – you will see the Christmas characters from European cities: a saleswoman form Prague with her traditional carp, chimney-sweeper, giving away golden-platted buttons for luck and city major with a huge key to the Christmas fair-trade.
