MRCE01: 9-10 Day Fort Providence to Fort Simpson (275kms)

Package Season: June 27 to September 22

This Expedition is our MRCE-01. Starts in Yellowknife with a 300km road trip to the picturesque Indigenous community of Fort Providence. Canoe 275kms from Fort Providence to Fort Simpson, and then drive back to Yellowknife. We will spend an additional night in Fort Simpson for those that choose our Optional Nahanni National Park flight seeing day tour.

We will spend 7 days canoeing and camping on this mighty Mackenzie River! Along the way you will take on the “Big Monster” known as Mills Lake, the widest part of the entire Mackenzie River! Th river’s width can be as much as 20kms across depending on water levels.
