Experience the beauty of Guatemala by taking a 2 day dive from Huehuetenango to Aguacatan all the way to Cotzal. Experience the deeply rooted Mayan traditions in small towns with Guatemalan locals.
Day 1
You will leave from Huehuetenango to arrive at the department of Quiche, through Agucatan and do a tour in the village. Then, you will continue on to Sacapulas and experience the town in development – Sal Negra – and experience the tradition of the town. From there, you will head to Nebaj and enjoy the traditions and ceremonies of the sacred village and stay overnight.
Day 2
On the second leg your first destination will be Chajul, a town rooted deeply in Mayan culture. Visting the homes of local artisan women and visiting Mayan families. You will also visit the church and museum in the area. From there, we will continue to Cotzal and visit its historic center, returning to Huehuetenango in the afternoon.
