The Emberas will welcome you warmly, and speak to you about their fascinating culture and way of life that has remained unchanged for centuries. Later you will have the opportunity to see an authentic Embera dance that represents these peoples' great respect and love for the animals and environment of their world. The native will give you traditional lunch and you will have the opportunity to buy some carved crafts. Embera tour is the perfect destination for outdoor adventure for families. The tour starts with hotel pick up followed by a 1.5 hour drive to the Chagres River where you will go on a 20-minute canoe ride. Then, you will go on a quick walk to a pond where you will see a nice waterfall. You will have about 20 minutes to relax, and take a swim if you wish to do so. Afterwards, you will continue on a 45-minute canoe ride to the Embera villlage where you will spend about 3 hours getting to know the people and the area where they live. A traditional lunch will be offered at the village. Once the visit is over, you will take a canoe ride back to the bus which will take you back to Panama City
