You can easily spend a whole afternoon in Elora, including waterfalling as well as quaint shopping and dining. The falls is a clear ramp form and is usually viewed from behind a stone wall at the end of Mill Street. In 2017 the mill was undergoing significant renovations and it was impossible to access the traditional viewing spot. I really, really hope tha they open this up again. Also, you have been able to cross the river and walk downstream along the far side. But major development is coming to this side as well, and I'm not sure how accessible it will be for visitors.
