During our excursion we will recollect the events of the three most remarkable Wars that happened in Russia: Patriotic War against Napoleon of 1812 and World War II.
We will visit the Victory Parc which is a huge memorial complex celebrating the Great Patriotic War. The park includes endless fountains and monuments and Museum of the World War II, the memorial church of St. George, the Holocaust memorial synagogue, the memorial mosque, the open air military hardware exhibition, and a number of sculptures.
Upon request we can also visit the Borodino panorama dedicated to the Patriotic War of 1812 against Napoleon Bonaparte. The museum contains a unique circular painting showing the heroic battle between Russian army and Napoleon's Grand Army in 1812. The Borodino combat lasted 15 hours and cost both armies 100 thousand lives. The museum exhibits some historical documents, canvases, military uniforms, maps of the 1812 war.
