Immerse yourself in Guatemala’s most famous market, held in a charming indigenous village at more than 1900 meters.
This day trip takes you on a journey to Guatemala’s most famous market. This market is a traditional Quiche market, which is famous for traditionally-dressed villagers in multi-colored clothing, who come to the market to sell fruits, textiles, vegetables, flowers, handicrafts, medicinal plants, livestock, candles, copal and pom grindstones, and much more! This tour also includes a visit to the local cemetery, the sacred hill of Pascual Abaj, a modern Maya sculpture garden, and to a 400 year old church (Santo Tomás), built on a pre-Colombian temple.
