The historical building of the Bolshoi theatre was designed by architect Joseph Bove in 1825. In 2011 after the major 6-years rebuilding and renovation the Bolshoi theatre was opened to the public again. Today the Bolshoi theatre is one of the most technically advanced theaters in the world.
During the tour, you will see the restored 19th-century interiors, walk through the empty foyers of the theatre, see the historic stage and Beethoven hall, take a look into the orchestra pit, admire the box of the main stage, and if you are lucky – to catch a glimpse at a rehearsal.
