Live a different experience and enjoy the adventure to the fullest by visiting the Joyyo Mayu Air Park, in the state capital in Tuxtla Gutiérrez. Our adventure begins early by visiting the Miguel Alvarez del Toro Zoo (ZooMAT). The ZooMAT is a 140-hectare protected natural park unique in the country since it has the most representative of the Chiapaneca fauna. Founded as a zoological park within the urban area in 1942 by Eliseo Palacios, it bears the name of its director from its opening until 1996, the year Miguel Álvarez del Toro died, being one of the main natural scientists who left an important legacy in the study of the Chiapas fauna. The tour is done by a walker of more than 2. 5 kilometers through a medium jungle that recreates the habitat of the species that are on display: wild boars, jaguars, harpy eagles, macaws, crocodiles, quetzals, deer and peacocks, a bird that only lives in Chiapas and is in danger of extinction; are some of the species that can be enjoyed in a setting that makes the viewer feel inside the natural space of the animals. After our adventure we will move to Joyyo Mayu Park to enjoy the Air Park. Dare to overcome the 14 challenges, crossing the treetops and in the company of the Adventure Guides who will give you the necessary support to overcome the 14 tests. Enjoy 290 linear meters in a circuit of 14 platforms that go from a minimum height of 4 meters to 11. We will finish the circuit with a small zip line. At the end we will have time to rehydrate and then go to.
