As part of the City of Montréal’s program to showcase local heritage, and with the collaboration of the Bureau du Mont-Royal and Les amis de la montagne, the organization Portrait Sonore offers a new sound walk experience.

À la racine de l’arbre is a sound walk that offers a unique opportunity to reconnect with nature through the trees of Mount Royal Park and those who know them best. Landscape architects, foresters, botanists, herbalists, designers, biologists and poets provide the soundtrack of this unifying collage that helps us to understand trees, to protect them and to be inspired by them.
